The iPad mini and fourth generation iPad price details have not been revealed by EE, but the first 4G mobile network provider in the UK has announced anyway that it will indeed be selling the Apple tablets. As of now, there is no exact release date, but the carrier says these devices will hit store shelves in the coming weeks.

Along with EE, service providers like Orange and T-Mobile UK will also be stocking up on the latest generation iPad and its more petite sibling. They will be made available on DC-HSDPA and HSPA+ networks with different data plans and users may also have to sign up for a two year customer agreement. Availability details through these network providers have not been mentioned.

Equipped with the A6X processor, the 9.7-inch fourth generation iPad flaunts a Retina display of 2048 x 1536p resolution and 264ppi. It is compatible with micro SIM cards and sports a Lightning connector on its sleek chassis. There’s a 5MP iSight camera on the back and a 1.2MP webcam on the front panel for FaceTime video calls. The slate also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 and can cough up the juice for about 10 hours between charges.

The compact tablet that goes by the name iPad mini comes encased in a sleek chassis that is merely 7.2mm thick. This slim profile supports an IPS touch panel of 7.9 inches and a 1.2MP FaceTime webcam on the front panel and a 5MP iSight camera on the back. The slab accommodates a nano SIM card and has a Lightning connector, and the body hides an A5 chipset under the hood.
