As per their report, the smaller version of the 3rd generation iPad is likely to commence shipping on November 2. That’s not all; there’s even another report from Geeky Gadgets that seconds this possibility based on the information given by a prominent UK retailer.
According to a tweet posted by 9to5Mac, not only would the iPad Mini be out on that particular date, but it will apparently also be ready for pre-orders on the very same day. This seems quite possible, keeping in mind the trend seen during the iPhone 5 as well as the latest iPad launches. Whether or not the company plans to commence pre-orders on the day it is said to announce the forthcoming device remains unclear.
