Those who do not mind shelling out close to £415 for the sleek slate can go ahead and reserve it as the 3G+ version is being manufactured only on demand.
The BlackBerry slab with 32GB internal memory, was spotted on the company’s UK website by CrackBerry. Insight UK and Misco UK have been listed as the only sellers of this device. Weighing approximately 425 grams, the PlayBook 3G+ has dimensions of 7.6 x 5.1 x 0.4 inches. Its front panel supports a 7-inch WSVGA capacitive multi-touch display that boasts of rendering clear visuals in 1024 x 600p resolution.
Deployed with a 6-axis motion sensing gyroscope, the cellular-capable device takes advantage of a 1.5GHz dual core processor, as opposed to its Wi-Fi counterpart that has a dual core processor clocking in a speed of merely 1GHz. It features 1GB of RAM apart from 32GB internal memory. Besides support for 3G+ networks, the device has built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n for wireless internet access wherever there’s an open hotspot.
