Two new accessories for the iPad and the iPad 2, were recently launched in the form of the Logitech Fold-Up keyboard and Joystick. The former provides for comfortable typing while on the move and the latter supposedly aids in delivering a more precise, immersive gaming experience.
The Logitech Joystick is developed specially for the iPad and its second version, claims to give players a wholesome gaming performance. It offers a thumb-stick style game controller which can be used with any game that requires an on-screen joystick or D-pad. This device attaches to the iPad with easy to apply and remove suction cups. Its coiled spring enables feedback for bringing the joystick to its center position.
The Fold-Up keyboard for iPad 2 is believed to be ideal for busy travelers who do most of their work on the go. This full-size, Bluetooth keyboard that is accompanied by a stand allows users to easily open it and input text. It can be closed without too much trouble by folding and placing it safely underneath the tablet.
When open, it holds the slate at an optimum angle for users to type and take notes. The keyboard can be charged via USB so owners do not need to worry about replacing batteries. As soon as it’s unfolded, the accessory becomes ready to use and can turn itself off automatically when folded, thus saving battery power.
The Logitech Fold-Up Keyboard and Logitech Joystick will be available in USA and Europe from next month and have been priced at $129.99(approx. Rs. 6,000) and $19.99 (approx. Rs. 922), respectively.
