The Energy Sistem i828, i824 and i724 tablets release date and prices have been declared and are said to be one of the first devices to offer Honeycomb-like interface while operating on the Gingerbread platform. The more or less similar tablets are attached with affordable price tags and come in different screen sizes and resolutions.
The i828 tablet featuring a 4:3 8-inch TFT LCD multi-touch screen offers a resolution 1024 x 768 pixels whereas the 8-inch display of the i824 renders 800 x 600p resolution. Both are powered by the 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor in addition to 512MB DDR3 RAM. Their front-facing VGA webcams facilitate video calling. The i828 is also equipped with a rear-facing 2MP snapper. They boast of 2.0 stereo speakers and omni-directional microphone each. Further, these HDMI enabled devices support microSDHC card of capacity up to 32GB and employ 4000mAh batteries capable of playing music for close to 30 hours.
The i724 tablet differs from the other two in terms of its screen and the processor. It sports a 7-inch capacitive TFT LCD 16:9 multi-touch screen of resolution 800 x 480p and runs on the 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. Moreover, its 4000mAh battery can cough the juice to let users enjoy music for about 35 hours. The tablet with an on-board memory of 4GB, expandable up to 32GB, is incorporated with a front-facing VGA camera. All three Wi-Fi certified devices come pre-loaded with a number of applications and provide access to the Android Market.
The release date of the Energy Sistem i828, i824 and i724 tablets is November 19 and they carry price tags of Eur 194.07 (approx. Rs. 13,145), Eur 168.64 (approx. Rs. 1,430) and Eur 134.75 (approx. Rs. 9,130), respectively. They are up for pre-order through the official web portal.
