Crafted to deliver an enhanced performance, the new Flash Voyager models have been designed on the lines of SuperSpeed USB 3.0. These offerings don the same durable rubber housing and chic appearance as the latter while extending a swift, consistent and mobile data storage.
“The faster read speeds offered by USB 3.0 make high-speed data storage much more convenient,†remarked Thi La, Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair. “For example, high-bandwidth videos can be viewed directly from the USB drive, so you no longer have to wait while they are copied to a hard drive or SSD.â€
The Flash Voyager portfolio sports storage products in three flavors namely 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. All these offerings have been developed to extend protection against water while they are also attuned with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. Further, its easy plug-and-play compatibility enables users to employ these drives with major operating systems.
The company has announced that Flash Voyager USB 3.0 flash drives will be available next month through authorized retailers across the US. The 8GB version of the Flash Voyager is expected to flaunt a price tag worth $19.99 (approx. Rs. 899) whereas the 16GB and 32GB editions can be picked for $29.99 (approx. Rs. 1,348) and $69.99 (approx. Rs. 3,147), respectively.
