Spryus Hydra PC ViP Flash Drive Launched

Spryus Hydra PC ViP Flash Drive Spryus has announced the launch of its latest flash drive, dubbed the Hydra PC ViP.

The features the Hydra PC Sentry A-V antivirus scanning application, which is said to fully safeguard the Hydra PC Personal Encryption Device, Enterprise Edition and Digital Attaché from spreading any known virus or malware.

With this, it is easy to augment currently available host-based antivirus solutions and improve the hardware file encryption of the Hydra PC. While storing the data onto the flash drive, all files are sealed, scanned and go through the Spryus file-by-file encryption process to identify tampering attempts or file corruption when the file is decrypted. The flash drive supports 128-bit, 192-bit and 256-bit AES encryption.

After the encryption, it digitally signs the file, returns it to the host with certainty of integrity and makes audit logs for a trusted virus-free and malware-free solution. It will block all impure files from infecting a computer or network.

“Integrating the total power of the Hydra PC Sentry A-V virus-scanning application with the unique properties of Spyrus military-grade hardware file encryption offers employees and their institutions far more than a sector-based encryption virus-protected USB flash drive solution. We call the Hydra PC family ‘Encryption Drives Plus,’ because they surpass all competitive encryption flash drives to meet customer needs for securing removable storage media and preventing injection of malicious software,” said Tom Dickens, Chief Operating Officer of Spyrus.

There is no word on the price for the Spyrus Hydra PC ViP flash drive.
