Toshiba has unveiled its latest solid state drive that provides an amazing 256 GB storage space.
Based on MLC (Multi-level Cell) technology, the latest 2.5-inch high-capacity SSD ensures a fast read/write speed. Using a SATA 3.0-Gbps interface, the drive offers a maximum reading speed of 120 MB/sec and writing speed of 70 MB/sec.
The latest 256GB SSD provides high-performance, high-reliability, high density data storage and faster data transfer rate that meet today’s computing devices. It is aimed at ultra-mobile PCs and small netbook computers and comes in three different storage configurations such as 250 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB.
The 256 GB SSD with MLC technology is expected to enter the mass production process in the Q4 of this year. Price is still not revealed.
