Imation has announced the availability of its latest external Apollo Portable hard drive. This sleek portable HDD is based on 2.5-inch hard drive technology and offers a plethora of storage space such as 160GB, 250GB, 320GB and 500GB.
The USB powered Imation Apollo Portable Hard Drive lets users charge store data, photos, music and videos. Users do not have to run for batteries or any other external power. It also comes with a blue LCD light to indicate the data transfer process.
Boasting to be lightweight, stylish and extremely durable, the newest high capacity storage device is housed in a midnight black-brushed surface with chrome detailing and weighs merely 160 grams for easy mobility.

Meausring 127.4mm x 80.9mm x 17.2mm (L x W x D), the Apollo Portable HDD also integrates Total Media Backup software to assist consumers to take backup of all types of digital files. It can work accurately with Win 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS X10.2.8 or higher. Apart from backup, they can even schedule, synchronize and restore functions with just a quick click of the mouse.
Backed by a 3-years warranty, the Imation Apollo Portable HDD is available in India for Rs. 4,500 (160 GB), Rs. 6,500 (250 GB), and Rs. 8,500 (320 GB). Sadly, the price of the 500 GB capacity HDD yet to be announced.
