Last week Iomega a leader in data protection and security launched two new portable hard drives for Windows and Mac users with the capacities of 250GB and 200 GB. Both feature Hi-Speed USB 2.0.
Both the drives are easy to install and simple to carry. They are as big as a PDA phone, and can thus be easily accommodated in the pocket.
Besides, they are compatible with Windows Vista (all versions), Windows 2000, Professional/XP Home/XP Professional/XP Professional x64, and with Mac OS X 10.1.5 or above.
“Iomega’s newest portable hard drives are excellent choices for anyone who needs portable storage, and the 250GB Iomega Portable Hard Drive sets a new benchmark for portable hard drive storage capacity,” said Ashley Ettwein, HDD product manager, Iomega Corporation.
“Not only do these two new portable hard drives provide more raw storage capacity than many people have in their desktop PCs, they also use the latest technology to help ensure that the data on the drives stay safe,” he continued.
Iomega Portable 200GB hard drive is available in the American market at the price of $179.95 (around Rs. 7,360) while the 250 GB model is available at the price of $229.95 (around Rs. 9,400).
