The most awaited next generation Apple iPhone is rumored to release on July 17, reports Engadget. May be this is the Apple way to answer Pre’s official launch date and price. This device reportedly flaunts an OLED display and a glowing Apple logo.
The other reported features include choice between 32GB and 16GB storage capacity, 3.2 megapixel camera, video recording and editing functions along with an MMS facility. The battery life has been enhanced to last 1.5 times longer than the usual batteries and the metal band that surrounded the previous iPhones has also been eliminated.
The device is empowered with a RAM capable of almost double the processing power of its predecessors and a built-in FM transmitter. It is also said to incorporate a compass, geotagging feature for its images and navigation maps that provides turn-by-turn directions.
This next generation iPhone will reportedly release on July 17 and cost $199 (approx Rs.9, 435) and $299 (approx Rs.14, 170).
