Epson L100, L200 inkjet printers with ink tank for India

Epson organized an event in Mumbai, India to unveil its new L100 and L200 inkjet printers which boast of being the first to integrate the ink tank system. Especially invented for consumers in Southeast Asia, the Epson L100 and L200 inkjet printers with Original Ink Tanks are said to increase the efficiency while cutting down costs.

The detachable Original Ink Tanks come with ink bottles of 70ml each and an outlet for air to enter and escape. The black ink is capable of printing up to 4000 pages while the three color ink bottles can print around 6500 color pages. This ink tank prints at a very low cost of 0.10 paise for a black page and 0.20 paise for a color page. Moreover, two black ink bottles are provided with a new set.

These printers were conceived especially keeping the typical Indian consumers requirements in mind. ” quoted Ram Prasad, Deputy General Manager, Consumer Products at Epson India. “Therefore, we are proud to present India with the world’s first genuine branded ink tank system printers and are confident they will do very well here.”

Further, these printers integrate the Epson Micro Piezo print head for a 5760 x 1440 dpi print resolution. Also, the variable size droplet technology (VSDT) helps ejecting droplets of ink in three different sizes. They can print around 27 black pages and about 15 color pages in a minute. With a USB 2.0 interface, they are compatible with Windows and Apple Mac OS 10.4.11 or later.

The FIT (Fast Ink Top-up) technology comprising ink tank, ink tubes and choke valve, not only simplifies refilling ink but also makes them convenient to carry. The dual layer ink tubes deliver ink smoothly and help keeping it moist. The Choke Valve prevents ink to flow in the opposite direction.

The Epson L100 inkjet printer is priced at Rs. 8,999 while the Epson L200 inkjet printer at Rs. 10,999. They are now available throughout the country.
