Epson tosses in new PowerLite X9 projector

We last caught a sight of Epson when it rolled out the PowerLite 905 and 915W ultra-bright projectors. The company has now introduced its latest PowerLite X9 projector which renders 2,500 lumens and white light output along with XGA resolution.

The lightweight offering delights owners with seamless USB plug-n-play interface and advanced audio connectivity for external speakers. The integrated closed captioning decoder enables users with hearing impairments to effortlessly access presentations. The utility level is enhanced with the instant power on/off capabilities.

“While education budgets continue to shrink, we recognize there is still a need for advanced and reliable technology in the classroom,” commented Sara Kim, product manager, Epson America. “The PowerLite X9 provides classrooms with brightness, sharp image quality and convenient connectivity that won’t break the bank.”

Besides, 1.2x optical zoom and +30 degree automatic vertical keystone correction puts forth easy setup in distinct classroom settings. The device comes along with Epson’s E-Torl lamp technology which enables the lamp to last for up to 5,000 hours in economy mode. The PowerLite X9 also boasts of advanced 3LCD technology for a leveraged viewing experience.

The PowerLite X9 can be snapped up for around $599 (approx Rs. 27,240) in April via national resellers, pro audio/visual dealers, mail order and distribution.
