Case-Mate joins hands with RIM over Built for BlackBerry program

The recently launched RIM’s Built for BlackBerry partnership program has enlisted several manufacturers to build products that are compatible with BlackBerry smartphones. Case-Mate recently became the newest member of this program and has officially announced the collaboration. The company will be offering products that meet RIM’s expectations for BlackBerry device accessories.

At present Case-Mate has a series of fashionable and protective cases for the BlackBerry Curve 8900/8520/8300, BlackBerry Bold 9700/9650 and BlackBerry Storm2 9550. They’re also out for BlackBerry Torch 9800, BlackBerry Tour 9630, BlackBerry Pearl 2 and BlackBerry Pearl 9100.

“We are delighted to be selected as a partner for RIM’s Built for BlackBerry Program,” commented Shashi Reddy founder and CEO of Case-Mate. “This program gives us the opportunity to provide users with cases that reflect their personal style as soon as the latest device comes to market.”

The cases made available by the company will be affixed with the Built for BlackBerry logo. This signifies that the cases manufactured were tested and designed exclusively for BlackBerry products.
