Jawbone Icon Headset

Apple mobile phones keep manufacturers pretty much swamped with fabricating super-trendy compatible accessories. Now, Aliph has redefined the word ‘style’ by unfurling its new Bluetooth headset for the iPhone 4, the Jawbone Icon.

Dressed in a truly mesmeric body, the elegant headset enables users to enjoy a complete wireless experience for answering calls, listening to music, podcasts or get audio driving directions and other streaming audio via A2DP technology.

“Jawbone ICON’s intelligence allows us to issue a constant stream of apps and innovations, which keeps the user experience fresh and exciting. As a result, customers are embracing the iPhone/Jawbone combination in record numbers,” remarked Hosain Rahman, CEO, Aliph.

The peripheral also includes Jawbone MyTalk which is a platform for a Bluetooth headset. Users can enjoy downloading applications which are compatible with the headset for added preferences and convenience from the web.

“The number of Jawbone customers using the iPhone was growing so rapidly that we wanted to delight them with a breakthrough offering. Our technical team worked around the clock to optimize for superior sound with the iPhone and to craft the world’s first visual battery meter, as well as tight streaming audio integration with A2DP. We look forward to offering more exciting innovations in the near future,” added Hosain Rahman.

The Jawbone Icon claims to be the only headset which displays its battery life with a visual battery meter on the iPhone. Aliph has also released two new apps namely ‘MyFavorite’ and ‘Voice on the Go’ for the Bluetooth headset. Myfavorite is a free app which lets users dial their favorite phone number with a press of a button whereas Voice on the Go enables users to listen to email, send email and texts, and much more with only their voice for a complete hands-free experience.

The pricing and availability details of the Jawbone Icon for iPhone 4 are yet to receive an official word.
