Asus develops new motherboards for hardcore gamers

The Ultimate Force and the Republic of Gamers portfolios by Asus have earlier been the eye-candy of hardcore gamers. These brands are now expanded with new offerings by the company which include the Maximus IV Extreme and SaberTooth P67 motherboards along with the Asus P8P67 series.

The manufacturer held multiple technical seminars for disclosing its new innovations to the global media outlets. Utilizing Intel P67 and H67 chipsets, the fresh peripherals are coined with Dual Intelligent Processors and feature two dedicated co-processors. The TurboV Processing Unit and Energy Processing Unit are also embedded into the solutions for augmented performance and power management. Asus has introduced its next-generation Dual Intelligent Processors 2 with DIGI+ VRM digital power management as well.

Packed with sophisticated overclocking capabilities, the new P8P67 models are designed with premium cooling technology for further ease. The exclusive user-friendly interface design consists of Bluetooth enhancement and consolidation, EFI BIOS and one-stop AI Suite II. Additionally, the ROG brand subsumes the Maximus IV Extreme motherboard for extreme overclocking. The ROG Connect, RC Bluetooth, and ROG iDirect for iPhone and iPad support are also bundled in.

The SaberTooth P67 under the TUF series comes with the unique tactical vest which directs cool air from CPU and case towards critical parts. This vest covers most of the motherboard to protect it against the heat generated by connected components like graphics cards. For reliability and longevity, the peripheral comes integrated with Asus Thermal Radar technology in vital parts. It automatically adjusts CPU and case fan speeds for improved cooling and low operating noise.
