Edimax India has announced the launch of the latest EW-7206APg and EW-7209APg Fast Ethernet Switches across the country.
The two switches comply with the IEEE-802.11g Wireless LAN Access Point and comes built-in with 5 Ports 10/100M Switch. Users can mix-and-match 10/100 Mbps devices on the network for flexibility and seamless migration to Fast Ethernet.
Besides, both the high-speed networking products address the demand of bandwidth-intensive consumer networking applications in home and SMB. Equipped with detachable RPSMA Antenna, the device boasts of supporting Radius Server with EAP-MD5 Authentication.
The sleek Fast Ethernet switches feature non-blocking switch architecture. The two easy-to-use standards-based switches support ESSID and 64/128 bit key length WEP encryption along with WPA and WPA2 Encryption. Moreover, both switches also incorporate advance security features such as MAC access control, IEEE 802.1x authentication, TKIP, AES and hidden ESSID. Users will appreciate a secured wireless network environment to avoid hacker’s intrusion.
The fan-less EW-7206APg and EW-7209APg switches include the Universal Repeater function to expand the coverage and signal strength for the current wireless environment. These two peripherals even show compatibility with other wireless APs and Routers.
Although the price is not known, Edimax EW-7206APg and EW-7209APg Fast Ethernet switches are available at all Edimax authorized retail counters, Jupiter International and Neoteric Informatique in India.
