Jabra Halo Wireless Stereo Headset with Dual Microphones, Unveiled

Jabra Halo Wireless Stereo Headset Enjoy crystal-clear music and even answer phone calls wirelessly over a new stereo headset. GN Netcom has launched the world’s first wireless stereo headset, dubbed the Jabra Halo.

The latest Bluetooth stereo headset supports wireless connection and works efficiently on A2DP technology. Users can seamlessly attach any Bluetooth music-playing devices and any 3.5 mm music-playing devices that include mobile phones, MP3 players, laptops and TVs. It supports auto-pairing for connection with mobile phone.

At 3 ounces and 0.2” x 0.5” x 0.7” (L x W x H), it has the ability to fade out the ongoing music while an incoming call rings, ensuring users to get rid of the burden of missing phone calls while listening to music.

Featuring an over-the-head design, it comes embedded with an intuitive on/off functionality, a touch volume control and a discreet display to indicate battery and connectivity status. The headset comes bundled with a carrying pouch and a foldable headband for convenient haulage.

Additionally, the Halo incorporates Jabra’s Noise Blackout technology that promises to eliminate ambient sound. With the help of dual microphones, the stereo headset is capable of capturing premium quality sound while intelligently filtering background clutter. The technology works with advanced DSP technology and Audio Shock Protection (monitoring incoming audio volume) to offer balanced sound that blocks background noise for a natural-sounding voice quality.

Some of the other attributes of the Jabra Halo wireless stereo headset include:

  • Zirene Power Bass for audio enhancement
  • Remote control music with touch sensors
  • Micro USB Charger
  • Ensuring versatility, the Halo wireless stereo headset can also double up as wired connectivity solution if a device is not Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) technology-enabled. Battery-wise, the new Jabra headset delivers a talk time of 8 hours, music time of 8 hours and standby time of 13 days. The Jabra Halo wireless stereo headset is scheduled to reach the shelves by May 1, 2009 for an estimated price of $129.99 (approx. Rs. 6,535).
