Mackie HD1521 and HD1531 Loudspeakers announced

Mackie HD1521 And HD1531 Loudspeakers Mackie has launched new HD Series high-definition powered loudspeakers, the 2-way HD1521 and 3-way HD1531.

Representing the apex of Class-D amplifier technology, the 2-way HD1521 and 3-way HD1531 loudspeakers about 1800W and 1600W total system power respectively. The HD Series loudspeakers implement patented acoustic correction processing.

“Our new HD Series loudspeakers are on the cutting edge of loudspeaker technology,” said Greg Young, Mackie brand product manager. “They offer more watts per dollar than the competition and the sonic clarity is nothing short of amazing.”

The loudspeakers come with the custom transducer design and system tuning. The 15″ neodymium woofers go well with the 1.75″ heat-treated titanium compression driver. The loudspeakers are pole-mountable and feature rugged all-wood cabinets with 12 integral fly-points for horizontal or vertical rigging.

“HD loudspeakers deliver immense power, are ultra-compact and lightweight and offer unmatched clarity,” added Young. “We truly elevate the experience for the audience, not to mention the engineer.”

Mackie’s HD1531 3-way offers a 6″ midrange driver as well as company’s optimized WaveFront mid/high horn system for a wider coverage. You can easily EQ the system with its user-adjustable 3-band EQ that comes with a sweepable mid.

HD Series High-Definition Powered Loudspeakers will be available in the US and Asia in May while it is expected to hit the European markets by June. The HD1521 will be priced at $1,249.99 MSRP and the HD1531 will cost you about $1,499.99 MSRP.
