For all the Mac users, Nova has introduced its new 3G USB modem called iCON 225, according to Electronista.
It offers HSDPA connections with download speeds up to 7.2Mbps and upload speeds up to 2Mbps.
It is neither SIM locked nor bound to any particular network. Thus you have the freedom to choose from several service providers. It also provides EDGE and GPRS connections that offer maximum of 80kbps upload and 220kbps download speeds.
This new Nova device comes with an Internet connection wizard called launch2net that ensures easy installation. It also offers up to 8GB of storage through a microSDHC slot.
The iCON 225 USB modem includes a lanyard and USB extension cord. It offers compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4.11 or above. It is now available at $160.
