Kinesis releases Freestyle V3 and Ascent Multi-tent Accessories for Keyboard

Supporting Freestyle Solo keyboard, Kinesis has brought two new accessories into its kitty, the Kinesis Freestyle V3 and Ascent Multi-tent ergonomic devices have been developed for the award winning Freestyle Convertible Keyboard.

Designed for both Macintosh and PC versions, the easy-on/easy-off Freestyle accessories provide a virtual “Swiss army knife” of ergonomic features and configurations.

Will Hargreaves, Kinesis President and CEO, explained, “With the addition of the simple to use and inexpensive Freestyle V3 three-angle tenting accessory, and the versatile Ascent Multi-tent accessory, we have met our objectives for this product family.” Both home and corporate computer users can benefit tremendously from this highly adaptable keyboard solution.

Coming to the first accessory; the Freestyle V3 splits the Solo Keyboard and delivers a reproducible slope settings of 5, 10 and 15 degrees, eliminating the need of any other tool for support. It also allows users for more flexibility with an optional palm support. Users can utilize the Pivot Tether depending on their requirement and enjoy highly stable typing platform.

Next is the Ascent Multi-tent accessory that boasts to provide both vertical and variable keyboard tenting as well as adjustable separation of the keying modules. It comes with multi-tent modules and a linking plate to offer limited rotation of wrists, and those who just prefer a more aggressive tenting angle. Tenting angles will be independently positioned for each keying module in 10 degree increments ranging from 20 to 90 degrees. A linking plate is available to hold the keying modules, depending on the users’ separation distance without any tools.

The Kinesis Solo keyboard comprises of two keying modules connected together by the flexible Pivot Tether. This enables infinite adjustment of the front opening angle (splay). If consumers detach the Pivot Tether, they will get the two modules completely separated up to eight inches.

The Freestyle V3 and Accent Multi-tent accessories are available for a suggested price of $24.95 (approx. Rs. 1,063) and $199.00 (approx. Rs. 8,481), respectively. The Solo Keyboard costs $99.00 (approx. Rs. 4,219).
