Adtec has announced a new headset, called the AD-HSM10. Claiming to be the world’s smallest Bluetooth headset, it weights 5 grams and measures 0.9x.86×1.2 inches.
This earpiece supports Profile HSP (Headset Profile), HFP (Hands-free Profile). You can communicate with your friends and family without obstruction within a distance of 10m. However, the communication quality depends on the environment.
The charging time of the headset is around 2 hours, but 8 hours of charging is required when used for the first time. It renders a talk-time of 3 hours and stand-by time of 100 hours. It works on lithium-ion battery and consumes a maximum of 15mA power.
Available in Silver and Titanium colors, the AD-HSM10 comes with a security function such as security 128bit encryption / authentication PIN code. The AD-HSM10 Bluetooth headset is compatible with Bluetooth Ver1.2 technology.
Expected to roll out in late January, the Adtec AD-HSM10 Bluetooth Headset costs $78 (approx. Rs. 3,120).
