A new Micromax phone going by the Canvas Lite A92 moniker has been spotted online at Infibeam’s threshold, with the e-retailer stating that it will be making the handset available on July 3. While Micromax is currently showering its upcoming flagship with all the necessary attention, the smartphone in question has ever so surreptitiously taken up pre-order status flaunting a budget-friendly price tag similar to that of the Canvas A88 Music hailing from the same series.
The Canvas Lite A92 may have matched pace with recent trends by welcoming a 5-inch capacitive touch display on its front panel, but it happens to be a tad low on the resolution front, producing visuals at 480 x 800 pixels. Also, the gadget could face a disadvantage considering the absence of a front-facing camera.
On the brighter side, the Jelly Bean-toting A92 Canvas Lite will be shipping with a 5MP shutter which features fixed focus and 5x digital zoom. It packs a decent amount of processing power with a dual core CPU which has been clocked at 1GHz, and depends on 512MB of RAM for assistance.
