After traveling across the globe and gathering accolades, the Android 3.0 powered tablet from Motorola is finally making a debut in India. The Motorola Xoom tablet will be available for users by the end of June.

The Motorola Xoom tablet is powered by 1GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM. The 10.1-inch customizable screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 displays moveable widgets, tablet browsing and notifications. The content can be viewed on big screen TVs as the tablet is compatible with HDMI. The 5MP rear-facing camera records HD videos and 2MP front-facing camera allows video chatting through Google Talk.

“Motorola Xoom redefines what the tablet experience should be. Designed from the ground up with the consumer in mind, it provides more ways to have fun, connect with friends and stay productive while on the go,” quoted Rajan Chawla, Mobile Devices business country head, Sales and Operations, India and South West Asia, Motorola Mobility.

The tablet supports Google Mobile services like Google Maps and also the beta version of Adobe Flash Player 10.2 for enhanced web browsing and gaming experience. Other features integrated in the tablet are accelerometer, lighting adaptability, gyroscope, barometer and e-compass. It offers a video playback time of about 10 hours and supposedly, gets charged in lesser time.

The Motorola Xoom tablet will be available in India by the end of this month. Its pricing details are not mentioned.
