The Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V and Xperia pro were unveiled at an event held in Mumbai, India today. Both devices come integrated with the Mobile Bravia engine along with the xLOUD technology for high quality sound output and noise shield for minimal audio disturbance.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V runs on a 1GHz processor and features Google Talk with video chat. Possessing a 3.7-inch TFT display, the smartphone is embedded with a 5MP camera featuring geo-tagging, 16x zoom, auto focus, an Exmor R CMOS sensor, red-eye reduction, face detection and touch focus. The camera allows users to capture photos with 3D Sweep Panorama and view them on a 3DTV or a multi-angle 3D display. Available in white, silver and blue, the device runs on Android 2.3 and is integrated with 512MB RAM.

Equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, the Sony Ericsson Xperia pro features the Exmor R mobile image sensor that claims to deliver pictures in high clarity. Also marked as an Android business phone, this handset comes with 1GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Integrated with 512MB RAM, it possesses a 3.7-inch TFT display featuring a resolution of 854 x 480p. Measuring 120mm × 57mm × 13.7mm, the smartphone is capable of supporting various connectivity options such as GSM, EDGE, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth. And it is home to an 8MP camera as well.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V and Xperia pro are expected to be available soon in India at Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 23,000, respectively.
