Maxx Mobile Khamoshhh Series India

With the noise filter feature, Maxx Mobiles has launched their new series ‘Khamoshhh’ including two phones namely the MX401 and MQ601 in India. At an event attended by us in Mumbai, the company representatives provided a demo of the SAM technology for noise-free conversations. Noise suppression is said to be achieved by employing an innovative signal processing technique which suppresses ambient sounds and eliminates echoes.

Currently comprising two devices in the range, a dedicated key will be available on all handsets in the series which enables and disables the noise suspension feature. Also, users can set the suppression level as per their requirement and comfort level from the ‘call settings’ menu. Devices in the range come equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, expandable memory of up to 8GB using the microSD slot and a video player supporting 3GPP, AVI and MP4 formats.

Ajay Agarwal, Managing Director at MAXX Group commented, “A mobile device has become more than just a communication device, it has become a lifeline to most of us! Whether it is a conference call for a business pitch or catch-up call with old friends, a mobile phone has become indispensable. But our conversations are never without the hustle-bustle of everyday life. Crowded restaurants, busy offices, chaotic commutes make it difficult to have a quiet conversation. In India, where there is still a very high preference and dependence on voice calls, we believe feature-rich yet affordably priced Khamoshhh series is the perfect device for an Indian audience.”

Powered by a 1500mAh battery, the Maxx MX401 provides users with five and half hours of talktime and a standby time of four hundred and fifty hours. For music lovers, the device is equipped with a big speaker whereas the Opera Mini web browser takes care of web needs. Furthermore, the Maxx MQ601 QWERTY handset comes with a 1000mAh battery enabling four and half hours of talktime and three hundred and fifty hours on standby. Also, the JAVA enabled phone sports wire-free FM radio and a 2.3” TFT display.
