T-Mobile BlackBerry Torch 9810 After AT&T, the 4G enabled BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone release date and price have been announced by T-Mobile. The touchscreen device featuring a physical slider QWERTY keypad is now up for pre-order and expected to start shipping from November 9.

The device running on the latest BlackBerry 7 OS is fueled by a 1.2GHz processor. Unlike most BlackBerry devices, the Torch 9810 sports a 3.2-inch TFT VGA capacitive multi-touch screen of 640 x 480p resolution to offer an intuitive user interface. And for flexibility of input options, it comes with a full QWERTY slider keypad. Encased in zinc, this grey colored sleek handset boasts of sporting a stylish form factor.

It claims to cram in some essential smartphone features such as the personal and corporate e-mail, social media integration and needless to say BlackBerry Messenger amongst others. The 5MP camera with built-in LED flash is capable of recording high definition videos of resolution 720p. Moreover, the BlackBerry 7 OS combines with the 4G capabilities of the handset to deliver a swift web browsing experience.

Further, it offers multimedia functionalities and is equipped with a speakerphone. It can be connected to various audio peripherals with the aid of its 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides supporting the T-Mobile 4G network, the Torch 9810 provides communication options in the form of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Also, users can browse and download a number of applications from the BlackBerry App World.

The T-Mobile BlackBerry Torch 9810 release date is set at November 9 while its price tag reads $249.99 (approx. Rs. 12,342) after a $50 mail-in rebate. It requires a two-year service agreement and qualifying data plan. It is now up for pre-order via the carrier.
