RIM dishes out elegant BlackBerry Bold 9780

BlackBerry Bold 9780 The last Bold offering had arrived through U.S. Cellular in the form of 9650 model. RIM has recently expanded the BlackBerry Bold series of smartphones with its new 9780 which is filled to the brim with enhanced multimedia features. Powered by the latest BlackBerry 6 OS, the attractive handset is coming through T-Mobile on November 17.

For wireless connectivity while on-the-fly, the novel smartphone supports 3G networks around the world and subsumes Wi-Fi option. Navigation, location-based applications and geo-tagging are proffered by its built-in GPS. Acting like a digital camera, the handset is embedded with a 5MP sensor featuring continuous auto focus, scene modes, image stabilization, flash, and video recording for photography buffs. On the storage front, it includes 512MB flash memory and integrates an expandable card slot which supports up to 32GB.

A dedicated YouTube app enriches the entire entertainment performance for online video streaming. Apart from this, the new BlackBerry 6 OS delivers a dewy and approachable experience with augmented browsing capabilities.

Users residing in the United States can purchase the new BlackBerry Bold 9780 beginning November 17 from T-Mobile for $129.99 (approx Rs. 5,787) after a fresh two year service agreement and $50 (approx Rs. 2,226) mail-in rebate card.
