BlackBerry Bold 9780 marches in India for Rs. 27,990

BlackBerry Bold 9780 Seems like, the elegant BlackBerry Bold 9780 is out on a stroll across the globe. After being available from T-Mobile for users residing in the U.S., the BlackBerry 6-powered smartphone by RIM has now landed on the Indian territory.

The chic handset claims to be the first device to be running on the latest BlackBerry 6 operating system. Dressed in an iconic design, this compact variant supports 3G and is integrated with Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities for enhanced connectivity. In addition to employing flash and video recording, its 5MP camera features auto-focus, scene modes and image stabilization. The optical trackpad can be used for fluid navigation required for multiple apps and websites.

Users can easily expand the 512MB internal memory of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 up to 32GB using its memory card slot. The smartphone is embedded with a rich WebKit-based browser which proffers HTML web pages, thereby allowing a PC-like Internet surfing experience. Moreover, if the amalgamation of Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and various instant messaging applications wasn’t enticing enough for social butterflies, the handset includes BBM services.

The deluxe BlackBerry Bold 9780 is anticipated to hit Indian stores hooked with a price tag Rs. 27,990, including VAT.
