Details of Verizon LG enV Touch Phone leaked

LG enV Touch PhoneLG is exploring the mobile phone industry with a sequel of the Voyager. The specifications and exclusive images of the LG enV Touch, which is also termed as the Voyager 2, seeps out – all thanks to the Verizon Equipment Guide.

According to I4U, the leaked details suggest that the mobile phone might possess dual screens, from which one is a WVGA touchscreen display (on the exterior) and the other is a non-touch WVGA screen within the clamshell. Apparently, there is a full-QWERTY keypad, stereo speakers, a native 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3.2 megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, auto-focus and flash. Bluetooth connectivity is also rumored to be part of the features.

It is believed that users can expand the memory of the device with the supported microSDHC card of up to 16GB.

According to the grapevine, the enV Touch is expected to run on a user-interface, which is presumed to be rather similar to the predecessor in many ways. It is also stated that the speculated phone may have a wide range of notable improvements and one of them is the Shortcut Menu that stores up to 15 shortcuts.

Though there is no official announcement of the precise shipping date, the LG enV Touch is understood to ship on May 29, 2009 for a suggested price of $130 (approx. Rs. 6,159) on contract.
