HTC Hero has been in news before for its first ever Android based user interface called HTC Sense. This dainty device has made its way to the Indian market.

This handset comes with a special offer for the numerous Airtel users in India. Through this handset, Airtel users can get free data download of 100 MB per month for a period of six months. They can also avail to utility based applications such as Portfolio Manager, Hello Tune Manager, Weather Channel, Mobshare, In-mobile search and City Search on the HTC Hero.

This handset comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA display and is optimized for the web, multimedia and other content. Besides, the HTC Hero also comes with a 5MP camera, a gravity sensor and GPS.

The HTC Sense UI enables users to dictate and organize content in a way that suits them best. It helps them manage an array of communication channels. Thus, bringing to users a simple yet innovative experience on their handsets.

This handset can be purchased for a price of Rs. 34,600 in Maharashtra and for Rs. 31,990 in rest of India, through all leading authorized HTC resellers.
