Motorola W403 flip phone unveiled

Motorola logo It looks like the clamshell design is the most preferred one among the Motorola developers as yet again the company has come up a flip phone entitled Motorola W403.

The Motorola W403 sports a 1.8″ internal display and a 96 x 32 pixels CLI monochromatic external display. The handset does not seem to offer any out of the box features and is just an entry-level phone. The company has termed the handset as ‘an all-in-one music and camera phone.’

The handset measures 95mm x 46mm x 16mm and weighs around 76 grams. The W403 offers dual band GSM/GPRS connectivity (850/1900/900/1800MHz). This flip phone features a VGA camera with video recording capabilities. It also employs CrystalTalk technology that amplifies the conversation and diminishes background noise.

The W403 offers complete entertainment with integrated FM radio, MP3 player and supports AAC, AMR NB, MIDI and MP3 audio formats. This Motorola phone offers 7MB of internal memory and comes with support for microSD memory card slot. The W403 is equipped with a 2.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth functionality.

The Motorola W403 will be available in Latin America for an affordable price around Q4 2009. Though it is not loaded with advanced capabilities, the handset seems to be suitable for people who use mobile phones to simply text and make calls.
