After the Samsung Omina phone, the company is expected to launch its latest handset dubbed Pixon aka M8800. Looking at the handsets specs, it makes us wonder whether the phone has camera capabilities or the camera has phoning functionalities. Read on to know more about the device.

The elegant handset sports an 8 megapixel camera. Other camera features includes Auto Focus, 16 x Zoom and dual power LED flash. It also incorporates face detection, smile shot, ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction), WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), Photo Browser (Accelerometer Sensor), Photo Browser (Accelerometer Sensor), and High Speed Video Capture and Playback. It supports DivX, WSVGA and VGA video recording at 30fp.

At just 13.8mm thinness, the other features of the Samsung Pixon include a 3.2-inch Full-Touch Screen display, 7.2 Mbps high-speed HSDPA Quad-Band connectivity, Online Widget for easy access to frequently used functions, and SRS (surround sound system) Virtual 5.1CH. The Pixon is said to be Samsung i8510 INNOV8’s successor, the smart device also comes along with GPS geo-tagging support, microSD expandable memory, Bluetooth 2.0 sans Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and FM radio.

The phone gives up to 7 hours of talktime and 16 days standby time.
