Motorola W230 and W270 Handsets

With ROKR E8 and Moto Z10, Motorola also showcased its W series of mobile phones. The new W230 and W270 handsets offer easy-to-use music capabilities, expandable memory with optional microSD card, clear audio in noisy environments and a simplified interface for text messaging.

The W230 and W270 feature dedicated music key, which activates an integrated digital audio player supporting MP3 and other popular audio formats. Both the phones also support microSD removable memory cards up to 2GB in size.

It further enhances entertainment features with incorporated FM radio. The integrated Radio Data System (RDS) displays artist, title and type of song playing on the radio. It also offers facility to record FM radio clips to use for the phone’s alarm. Users can also share favorite stations with friends through text messaging and listen via headphones or speaker.

Also the new W series phones includes CrystalTalk technology that helps reduce background noise. Up to nine hours of talk time, the capacity to store up to 500 text messages and phone contacts, one click access to create text messages and the ability to access the Web, create a well-rounded feature set at a great value are some of the other features of the W230 and W270 handsets.

The W230 features slim candybar design while the W270 is a flap-phone offering sleek design.

The Motorola W230 and W270 handsets are expected to be available in Q1 2008.
