Corsair New Enthusiast Series Modular PSUs coming this month

Corsair New Enthusiast Modular PSU

The Corsair New Enthusiast Series Modular PSUs claim to be reliable while providing the flexibility of a modular cabling. The PSUs with detachable cables will be available in July, across the world.

The Enthusiast series is said to be a successor to the previously launched TX V2 line. As opposed to the fixed cable set of TX V2, the latest series equips an attached ATX 12V along with a detachable cable set. It helps users to remove cables which are not needed in order to reduce the clutter.

Further, these PSUs are about 85 percent efficient and deliver a load of up to 50 percent. Capable of delivering power continuously even at 50° C, they are suitable for PCs which require constant power. The TX550M, TX650M and X750M variants of the series deliver a power of 550 watts, 650 watts and 750 watts respectively.

“The Enthusiast Series has long had broad appeal among demanding system builders due to its combination of exacting performance standards and affordability. The Enthusiast Series Modular line is a great new choice for hardcore PC gamers, performance enthusiasts, and anybody else who requires stable, reliable power delivery,” stated Ruben Mookerjee, VP and General Manager for Components at Corsair.

These 80 PLUS Bronze certified PSUs employ 140mm fans with double-ball bearing for a better airflow. They adjust the speeds according to the temperature of the system. Moreover, the ultra-quiet fans keep the noise levels low.

The Corsair New Enthusiast Series Modular PSUs of power 550W, 650W and 750W are priced at $109 (approx. Rs. 4,833), $129 (approx. Rs. 5,720) and $149 (approx. Rs. 6,606), respectively. They will be available at select retail stores worldwide.
