Only this time the bellow could be louder. Maingear debuts its latest powerful machine in the form of the eX-L 17 notebook. In the company’s own words, it houses ‘the most powerful components ever assembled into a 17-inch notebook.’

Claiming to be an intelligent combo of function and form factor, the device includes built-in biometrics security through fingerprint reader for security. Touch sensitive hotkeys allow execution of customizable macros and applications. Users can take their pick from five different Maingear M.A.R.C. laser engravings for a neat and elegant fabrication. Gamers can look forward to desktop like robustness even when on the move. As for creative professionals, the mean-machine should work efficiently on site without affecting the productivity.

The notebook should deliver crisp videos thanks to the inclusion of Nvidia GeForce GTX 480M, Nvidia Quadro FX 2800M and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 video cards. In combination with the 17.3″ Full HD 1920 x 1080 – (1080p) widescreen LED backlit display having a 16:9 aspect ratio, playing graphic-intensive games should be a one-of-a-kind-experience. Powered by the Intel Core i7 820QM processor, the notebook serves up to 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 memory at 1333Mhz.

In addition to this, the laptop also packs in up to 2X Blu-ray reader/8x multi combo (BD-R, DVD+-RW, CD-RW) optical drive. Its option of 512GB SSD or 750GB 5400RPM SATA 2.5 hard drive we’re sure won’t disappoint hoarders.
