MSI unveils 2010 laptop line-up

The demand for laptops certainly seems to be increasingly rapidly, judging by the number of such devices that is being let out into the market of late. MSI has come out with a whole host of laptop offerings for Indian consumers. These include the GT640, GT740, EX465, CR420, CX420 and CR620 laptops

The 15.4” and 17” G-series GT640 and GT740 sport Intel Calpella flatscreens and house Intel C i7 Quad Core processors. The visuals are delivered courtesy Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M 3D discrete graphics and audio system supported by metal 3D speakers. Other features of these Windows 7 OS optimized notebooks include WASD keys highlighted in red, a luminescent, touch activated interface boards and thin brushed aluminum alloy cases with lava red trim

EX645 has a 15” 16:9 LED backlit display and comes powered by an Intel Core Due processor and Radeon HD4330 discrete 3D graphics. It sports an EDS ergonomic keyboard, integrates ECO Engine technology and runs with a 6-cell battery. CR420, CX420 and CR620 Classic series laptops flaunt Color Print Film exterior coating and house Intel’s latest-generation Core i5 processors. They host LED lights, light-touch tactile Chiclet keyboards and brushed metal touchpad buttons. Intel Calpella support ensures image processing capability of 1080p HD for an enhanced audio and video experience.

MSI’s GT640 and GT740 notebooks are priced upwards from Rs.88,000, while the EX465 costs Rs.38,999. The CR420, CX420 and CR620 are tagged at prices starting from Rs.38,000.
