TriGem launches the latest addition to its family of mobile computing called the Averatec N2700 notebook. This 12 inch laptop is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2GHz dual-core processor. This slim device is packed with many features which offer users a good computing experience.
Sporting a 12.1 inch WXGA display screen, the notebook weighs just 4.0 lbs and is 11.6(W) x 8.9(D) x 1.2(H) inches in size. All these attributes make this laptop easily portable and it can be used anywhere. The Averatec notebook is able to fit easily into a briefcase or backpack and hence is ideal for business professionals and students alike.
Henry Hewitt, vice president of sales at TriGem USA explained, “The N2700 notebook is an ideal solution for consumers looking for the sweet spot in terms of price, portability and performance. The device incorporates 4GB RAM and 64-bit edition of Windows Vista Home Premium. Also integrated into the system is 802.11b/g wireless connectivity and 10/100/1000 MB/s wired Ethernet LAN.
The latest TriGem offering has three USB 2.0 ports and an IEEE 1384 port which is able to connect external hard drives, camcorders and high-speed firewire devices. Apart from these ports, the N2700 also has a headphone/external output jack, D15 VGA external display output, microphone input jack and 4-in-1 memory card reader (MS/MS PRO/MMC/SD).
The laptop consists of a 250GB SATA hard drive and SuperMulti 8X Dual-layer DVD/CD reader-burner. The Averatec notebook also includes Intel’s GMA X4500HD and GM45. A built-in 1.3 megapixel camera is also found in the device. The notebook delivers optimum performance as it has minimum pre-installed software bundles which consist of trial software and demo programs.
The 12 inch Averatec N2700 notebook is available for an expected price of $699 (approx. Rs.35,029.
