Lenovo’s ThinkPad W700, a 17-inch widescreen mobile workstation comes to the Indian soil. The workstation delivers unprecedented performance in the data and graphics-intensive user environments and comes with built-in digitizer, color calibrator and NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile graphics.

The integrated digitizer helps let’s easily configure an image by either mapping it to the entire screen or a specific user defined area while the colour calibrator offers most accurate, natural images by automatically adjusting the display’s colour in almost half the time compared to other external calibrators.

There has been an ever increasing demand for mobile workstation that brings in the comfort of a desktop in various work fields like digital content creation, computer-aided design, manufacturing, photography, science, oil and gas industries etc.

The ThinkPad W700 supports the upcoming Intel mobile quad core processor and is compliant with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star 5.0 program for computers.

Configure it up to 8 GB of memory, you can opt for dual internal hard drives with RAID configurations and also solid state drive storage. RAID 0 lets you access and save data faster while RAID 1 offers mirrored data redundancy. This Think Pad also features NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M and 3700M Open GL with up to 1 GB dedicated video memory, WiFi wireless connectivity, 17-inch display delivers, optional 400-nit WUXGA display, external connectivity by Dual Link DVI, Display Port and VGA, a 7-in-1 multi-card reader, five USB ports, optional mini-dock, optional compact flash reader and Blu-ray DVD burner/ player.

The ThinkPad W700 mobile workstation is priced at Rs. 1,49,000 and is available through Lenovo website and business partners.
