HP introduces ProBook 6445b and 6545b

HP is all geared up to extend its ProBook lineup with the introduction of two new laptops. The new laptops are dubbed HP ProBook 6445b and HP ProBook 6545b, reports Ubergizmo. Both these devices claim to incorporate a host of advanced features that enhance the performance.

The ProBook 6445b features a 14-inch display and weighs approximately 5.3lb. Apparently, the laptop supports both 2.4GHz and 2.0GHz AMD processors. It also incorporates an 8GB RAM and up to 500GB hard drive. The display screen features LED backlight, anti-glare technology, and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The ProBook 6545b flaunts a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. This 5.9 pounds laptop features a 2 megapixel webcam. The technical specs include dual channel DDR2 SDRAM RAM and up to 500GB hard drive that provides a speed of 7200rpm. Both these laptops incorporate Gobi broadband chip that is compatible with almost any cellular data network.

Reportedly, the 6445b will not be made available in the US. Both the HP ProBook 6445b and the HP ProBook 6545b will offer compatibility with Windows 7 operating system. There is no official word on the pricing and availability details of these laptops as yet.
