Emtec launches G-box nettop PC

Emtec Nettop PC Emtec has launched its new nettop PC called the G-box, says Techfresh. It is based on the ion platform from Nvidia.

The device features a system combo chipset along with Intel Atom CPU HD-capable graphics. It supports Windows XP operating system and also comes with a 160 GB hard drive, six USB ports and a VGA output. It is claimed to be apt for business environment.

Moreover, it sports small form factor along with a Pegatron design and six USB ports. Users can attach this PC on the Vesa mounts located on the rear side of the HDTVs and the computers.

Apparently, compared to the Acer Revo and the ASUS eBox, the GBox is noticeably thinner.

The EMTEC G-Box is said to go on sale in the UK for around $293 (approx. Rs.14,009). A HDMI version of this G-box is presumed to follow.
