Few details and pictures of Dell’s latest laptop have been leaked by tech site Gizmodo. It is said that the tiny product was spotted at the D: All Things Digital conference, thanks to Dell’s CEO Michael Dell. If you noticed the word ‘Tiny’ in the previous sentence, it indicates the upcoming laptop’s form factor. No official name has been disclosed but this ultra-portable device is a mini laptop for the Dell Inspiron segment.

With this mini Inspiron laptop, Dell seems to be giving a tough competition to the Asus Eee and HP 2133 notebook PCs. There are no factual features but a vague speculation suggests that the laptop probably sports a 8.9-inch screen, three USB ports, an SD card reader, an 8-in-1 card reader, VGA output and Ethernet connections.

According to the rumors, the small notebook PC might run on either Windows XP Home or Ubuntu Linux operating system. According to few sites the laptop might feature Intel’s new Atom 1.6GHz processor.

Gizmodo hasn’t mentioned anything about the specifications about the product. These are mere speculated details. Let’s see when the official launch date is expected to be announced. Apparently, the price of the Dell mini Inspiron laptop will be around $500 (approx. Rs. 20,000).
