Toshiba announces the inclusion of Intel Centrino 2 with vPro technology to its business laptops Tecra M10 and Tecra A10. These laptops are equipped with EasyGuard technology and a webcam with business card reader software.

Intel Centrino 2 with vPro Technology helps to manage and secure the mobile workforces. It also provides remote isolation, repair and diagnostics. The Tecra M10 and Tecra A10 also feature SmartCard reader, fingerprint reader, HDD protection, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and spill-resistant keyboard.
The Tecra M10 and Tecra A10 offer a 1.3 megapixel webcam with business card reader software which allows you to scan business cards as well as store them digitally. These laptops feature a common motherboard which has lowered the cost of services and support.
The Tecra M10 and Tecra A10 equips an eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port, sleep-and-charge USB port, solid state drive option and ENERGY STAR 4.0 compliant. They are RoHS-compatible as they restrict the use of mercury, lead and some other substances that are harmful to our environment. Toshiba is said to offer a computer trade-in and recycling program during the third quarter of 2008.
