Lenovo ThinkPad X300 Pricing leaked by Best Buy

Lenovo ThinkPad X300 Last month, TechGadgets.in has reported that the Lenovo ThinkPad X300 was on its way for a release and was termed as MacBook Air Killer notebook. Now, the price of the X300 has been revealed by Best Buy, the international retailer of consumer electronics and computer software.

The whopping price of the Lenovo ThinkPad X300 notebook is suggested to be around $2,743.99, which comes to approx. Rs 108,998. When compared to Apple’s MacBook Air that costs above $3,098 (approx. Rs. 123,060), the cost of the X300 is moderately standard, for more or less the same features as Apple’s baby.

Equipped with a 64GB solid state disk (SSD), the ThinkPad X300 sports a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo SL7100 processor, 13.3-inch (1440×900) LED backlit unit, two DIMM slots up to 4GB of DDR2 memory and a DVD burner. It also comes with a wireless connectivity that includes Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi along with HSDPA, EV-DO Rev A and WiMAX options.

It weighs as little as 2.5 pounds and bundles a camera, microphone and a 3-cell battery that offers about 4 hours of life.

It is believed that Best Buy has already started to punch in pre-orders. However, the availability is not revealed. As of now, it is leaked information, so we will have to wait for the official announcement.
