HP ships Compaq 2170p Ultra Portable Notebook Ships

Compaq 2170p Ultra Portable Notebook Few days back we had reported about the HP’s Compaq 2170p, an ultra portable PC is approved by FCC. Now HP is all set to launch the same product.

The upcoming HP 2170p features Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra-Low Voltage processor and it is based on Santa Rosa mobile platform. Besides the keyboard, there is one more input device added which is called as Pointstick. The Pointstick incorporates two buttons Digital Eraser Pen with tether and clip.

The 2170p ultra portable notebook has 12.1-inch diagonal display with Illumi-Lite WXGA UWVA anti-glare with Digitizer. Besides, the new HP Compaq notebook features hard drives based on SMART PATA interface. Also, up to 100GB 4200rpm HDD and 2GB of DDR2 667MHz RAM can be configured.

  • The price of the HP Compaq 2170p starts from $1,649 (approx Rs. 66,550) and goes up till $2,478 (approx Rs. 99,999) depending upon the configuration chosen. HP’s new notebook is expected to arrive in the US market by July 21.
