Since the beginning of this month, the CES fever has struck many tech fiends who refuse to let the excitement die down. Sony has just kept the ecstasy high with its new Blu-ray Disc players and Home Cinema systems which tout to redefine the way users enjoy entertainment. With enhanced streaming capabilities, these latest models enable access to online content for complete convenience.

Users can comfortably browse content for popular video sharing websites such as YouTube and DailyMotion as well as catch up on their favorite TV shows which they might’ve missed with BBC iPlayer. The incorporated Opera web browser allows owners to visit their preferred website and search the Internet too. The extensive Qriocity Video on Demand and Music Unlimited service by Sony is also bundled in.

“New Blu-ray Disc players for 2011 give you an even greater choice of home entertainment. Blu-ray Disc players are fast becoming an essential home media hub – bringing the best of the web to your TV screen and streaming music and movies from all over your home,” enthused Joss Kaldenberg, Business Manager, Audio & Video Marketing Europe. “And with the superior sound from our new Home Cinema Systems, now you can truly bring music, sports and 3D movies to life in your living room.”

Some 3D Blu-ray players from the family like the BDP-S480 and BDP-S580 bring the stunning world of three-dimensional videos and movies right across users’ couch. Users can also enjoy full HD 2D movies on these offerings. The integrated Wi-Fi capability in a few variants like BDP-S580 empowers connection to the Internet or users’ home network without the cable clutter. On the connectivity front, these Blu-ray players feature two HDMI ports and two USB slots.

However, the pricing and availability details of this stunning bouquet of Sony Blu-ray Disc systems are foggy for now.
