FH001 Transparent Eco-friendly Speakers from Ferguson Hill

Ferguson Hill FH001 Speakers

Innovation doesn’t seem to know any boundaries. To prove this line right, Ferguson Hill unveils their latest FH001 speakers that not only shows off its transparent design but also boasts about its eco-friendly features.

We have earlier reported on the LG GD900 Phone that presented a transparent keypad, now the same transparent design has been taken a step further with these see-through speakers. Also known as the Horn speakers, the FH001 delivers around 3 to 50 watts of sound. The horns of these speakers are made up of toughened cast acrylic, precision molded and 8mm thick. The company chose acrylic only because the material exhibits great damping and toughness for its strength-to-weight ratio.

The speakers receive the ‘eco-friendly’ tag only because these horn speakers go well with even the smallest, most power-efficient amplifiers. This feature eliminates the use of powerful amplifiers without any compromise on the sound quality.

The acrylic horns rest on the welded stainless steel stands that have been satin polished with internal damping, integral spikes, supplied with floor protector discs.

The speaker’s drive unit features a modified Lowther DX3 full range driver teamed with aluminum-alloy phase plug that delivers the best frequency response via the shape of the horn.

The price of these speakers seem to be quite a shocker. At a price of around Rs. 7,90,271 (UK £9950) the speakers go on sale through the official website of Ferguson Hill.
