Logitech India today announced the AudioStation, a new speaker system for the iPod. The new speaker system is compact and has an acoustic design.
The AudioStation features matching satellites with two drivers each, 1-inch high-definition soft-dome tweeters for high frequencies with good quality and 4-inch high-power long-throw woofers for powerful bass.
There is no button or even any knob on the system, all the controls of the system are touch sensitive, thus giving a seamless, smooth look to the system. LEDs illuminate the controls, when the speakers are turned on. Controls such as power on and off, volume up and down adjustments, select radio stations are incorporated.

Also, Logitech AudioStation has a LCD screen display that shows details like radio station channels, the time, or an audio spectrum analyzer. Besides, it also displays track information.
A remote control is also included with the AudioStation. The remote has all the functions that the system’s front panel has. Besides, it includes menu button, a sleep timer, and a switch to turn the system’s 3D stereo mode on or off. Menu button helps to adjust bass and treble levels independently. You can also change the display brightness, and choose whether or not the iPod backlight should remain on while being plugged into the AudioStation system.
Like all other iPod docking stations, the AudioStation can simultaneously play music from the iPod and recharge its batteries. Also it has a 3.5 mm input to connect the system with other MP3 players
Logitech AudioStation Speakers will be available in India at the price of Rs. 20,995 along with one year warranty.
