Getac intros rugged GPS-enabled PS535F PDA

Getac PS535F PDA Getac announces its new rugged GPS-enabled PDA PS535F with built-in 3 MP auto-focus camera, altimeter and E-compass.

The device lets you capture on-site data and transmits it in real-time as well as provides pinpoint navigation. Apt for several GIS surveying applications, it comes with built-in camera, a 3.5-inch VGA touch screen display that is sunlight readable and detailed maps.

Along with the GPS system, the PS535F comes equipped with an in-built altimeter and E-compass which offer advanced features like fixed positioning of longitude, latitude and altitude. The connectivity options include integrated Bluetooth V2.0 and 802.11b/g WiFi.

The Windows Mobile 6.1 software allows quick access to email, Internet, texting etc. The PS535F also features 533MHz Samsung 2450 processor, 128Mb onboard MDDR, 2GB onboard NAND Flash Storage ROM, embedded GPS Receiver and 8 hours of battery life.
