TomTom unveils TomTom Go x50 Live series

TomTom Go x50 Live series TomTom has unveiled its much awaited navigation series called the TomTom Go x50 Live. This series includes three portable navigation devices called the TomTom Go 950 Live, the TomTom Go 750 Live and the TomTom Go 550 Live. All these three navigation devices incorporate TomTom’s leading IQ Routes and a fully optimized UI.

These navigation devices come embedded with the expanded Live services that promise to offer the ultimate navigation package available in the market today. The user interface of this device promises to incorporate TomTom’s routing technologies. These technologies make it more easy and intuitive to operate. The device also claims to give users a gist of their journey before they set off.

The HD traffic, safety alerts and fuel prices are also displayed by these navigation devices. The devices also provide real-time updates about traffic. Apart from this, the TomTom Go x50 Live series feature a frequent destination menu that calculates a route to the frequently visited destination quickly. The Eco Routes option has also been included that enables users to select the most fuel efficient route to reach their destination.

These TomTom devices come with maps of Malta, Greece and Turkey. The Map Share feature allows users to makes changes to a specific map and share it with others. TomTom Go 950 Live comes pre-installed with maps of US, Canada and 45 countries in Europe. It also offers Enhanced Positioning Technology (EPT) that promises to provide uninterrupted navigation.

The TomTom Go 750 Live includes maps of 45 countries in Europe while the TomTom Go 550 Live features maps of specific countries and regions in Europe. The TomTom Go x50 Live series promises users to calculate the fastest route to the desired destination by using its various applications.

The TomTom Go x50 Live series will be made available this autumn along with the Live services. The Live service will be made available on subscription bases for a monthly fee of €9.95 (approx. Rs. 694). The pricing details for the navigation devices are well guarded by the company.
